Community Partner Sites

The CUA DC Reads program partners with local schools and community outreach programs which provide Catholic students with the opportunity to tutor children in reading and/or math. These partner sites represent public, private, and charter schools, after-school programs, and non-profit organizations. Each program is unique, and each has its own curriculum. 

 

Beacon House

A non-profit located in the Brookland neighborhood that provides one-on-one tutoring in reading and math.

Imagine Hope Community

A public charter school located in the Brookland neighborhood that provides one-on-one tutoring in reading.

St. Anthony's

A Catholic school located in the Brookland neighborhood that provides small group homework help by volunteers.

Reading Partners

An Americorp program that focuses on one-on-one literacy education at elementary schools.

Washington Jesuit Academy

An all boys Catholic school in the Brookland neighborhood that facilitates one-on-one tutoring in reading and after school homework help.

Higher Achievement
